Kimber Larson - Founder
Spending nearly three decades in the studio, Kimber has built her career on a foundation of teaching and directing dance. From guiding toddlers through their first steps to coaching advanced students and adults, she has dedicated herself to shaping dancers across generations. Her work as a director, creating and staging more than 50 original productions since 2001, sparked a career that now spans every corner of the dance competition industry.
That firsthand experience in the studio and on the stage gave Kimber the insight to grow into leadership roles that continue to impact dancers nationwide. She serves as CEO of Finale, dedicated to cultivating creativity and learning in the performing arts. She also leads a family of competition brands, Precision Arts, LUXXE, Moxie, and KUDO, each designed to elevate the competition experience for dancers, teachers, and families.
For over 20 years, Kimber has also directed Diamond Dance Company, a respected competition team that has trained and showcased hundreds of dancers. Her commitment to collaborative artistry extends to the Midwest Ballet Collective, where she works to bring dancers, educators, and choreographers together to inspire and share work across the region.
Deeply invested in the growth and future of the competition industry, Kimber is an active member of both the Association of Dance Competitions and Conventions and the United Dance Merchants of America. Through these platforms, she continues to strengthen connections, set higher standards, and expand opportunities within the industry she has helped shape.
